Ray Romano is coming back to the small screen, but on basic cable. According to
The Hollywood Reporter, TNT has picked up Ray Romano's
Men Of a Certain Age and ordered it to series.
The series was granted a 10-episode order and the series will premiere sometime later this year. It is Romano's first TV gig since his popular network series
Everybody Loves Raymond.
The series will explore male friendship through the eyes of three college buddies now in their 40s - Joe (Romano), Owen (Andre Braugher) and Terry (Scott Bakula).
Romano co-wrote the series pilot with
Everybody Loves Raymond writing alum Mike Royce. Both are executive producing the series, with Royce serving as the showrunner.
