Justin Malen Sets Up Two Comedies

Justin Malen has set up two writing gigs: Paramount has signed Malen to write its comedy Time Out, and he is also in talks to script the comedy Trophy Husbands for Media Rights Capital.According to The Hollywood Reporter, Time Out is based on a 2006 New York Times article written by Warren St. John about recent college graduates who get in over their heads when they volunteer to coach a youth-league football team.
Matt Eddy and Billy Eddy previously worked on the screenplay, which originally was set up at Paramount Vantage.
No production dates have been set.
