The new poster for
Push is now online. Opening February 6th, the Paul McGuigan-directed action-thriller stars Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, Djimon Hounsou, Maggie Siff and Scott Michael Campbell. Check on the new one-sheet below.

A riveting action-thriller,
Push burrows deep into the deadly world of psychic espionage where artificially enhanced paranormal operatives have the ability to move objects with their minds, see the future, create new realities and kill without ever touching their victims. Against this setting, a young man and a teenage girl take on a clandestine agency in a race against time that will determine the future of civilization.
The Division, a shadowy government agency, is genetically transforming citizens into an army of psychic warriors-and brutally disposing of those unwilling to participate. Nick Gant (Chris Evans), a second-generation telekinetic or "mover," has been in hiding since the Division murdered his father more than a decade earlier. He has found sanctuary in densely populated Hong Kong-the last safe place on earth for fugitive psychics like him-but only if he can keep his gift a secret.

Messenger, I want to know, when you say every character has a parallel, do you mean someone with similar powers (which is unavoidable), or an ACTUAL parallel, as in the same mannerisms, motivations, position relative to other characters? Because I think it's pretty weak to argue that one show depicting superpowers is a rip-off of another series (also, are we talking X-Men comics or Movies, two different ball parks?) just because the powers bear similarity. I'm not saying Heroes isn't a total tear on X-Men, but you have to offer a stronger argument than that.
Sounds like a Re-Make of: The Fury (1978)!
As for the X-Men/Heroes comparisons, this reminds me a lot more of Jumper or even Firestarter, and also, SO FUCKING WHAT? How many stories concerning multiple superpowered characters AREN'T going to look like X-Men or Heroes. Pretty soon some moron is going to start comparing The Avengers Movie to X-Men and Heroes.
People can piss and moan about how "Hollywood doesn't have any more idea's left" or "Hollywood sucks cause all they do is make super hero movies" WELL if the comic book movies did make so much freaking money they would make them! It's just like pro athletes getting paid butt loads of money! And how do they get that money? They get it from people who $20 hotdogs and $30 dollar beers at the game.
quite a cast in this movie
the trailer is promising, hope it doesn't disappoint
