Ummm Ok.....another over-the-top- Summer F/X film W./little to no plot ....I would only see this for Dennis Quaid!

I mean doesn't anyone remember "G.I. Joe: The Movie" which came out in 1987..& it was animated film spun off from the animated series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero!??!

Looks like some big, brainless CGI fueled action movie with a very poor plot behind it and whack action scenes *points at the two ninjas fighting* The ending of the trailer is a rip from transformers. There is absolutely no fucking way in HELL that this bullshit movie is even gonna come close to the cartoon. As a fan of the G.I Joe toys series and comics I will not be seeing this. Also WTF! is up with the halo suits? Why can't hollywood stick to the source material!!!

Sienna Miller looked hot... but the poor graphics, mech Iron Manish suits, giant underwater sea base, and a white vs. black ninja fight make this look like a bad way to end the summer.

You know after watching this trailer,I'm not so excited for it anymore, this just looks too cheesy now.The Super Bowl spot was good, this just showed alot of stuff that does not look appealing to me anymore. They basically showed the entire scene of the Eiffel Tower falling, come on now you'd go to theaters and already know that scene thanks to this trailer.Maybe it's too soon to judge but that trailer is not helping.

OK....This should be fun to watch in cinema!....nothing else to say about the film. but...While watching this trailer I was thinking "Man,this movie is trying to rip off Iron man"...then..."Man,this movie is trying to rip off Terminator"... then... "Man,this movie is trying to rip off Transformers"........I then I stoped thinking and saw amazing effects. This movie is all about fun and I will watch it in cinema!

drexll: Here's the problem, even if the movie is just eyecandy... you want it to be tasty for your eyes, right? This doesn't even LOOK good. It is a FAIL even on the eyecandy level. If this is just eyecandy, I want it to be sticky-candy-sweet, instead I'm getting a strong odor of cheese coming from this trailer. The effects look stale folks... as if ol' Sommers hadn't up'd his special effects game since Van Helsing (2004).

It drives me nuts when people say, it's just "an action movie." I don't think anyone here is expecting Academy Awards here, but c'mon, if you can't even make the "fun" look fun, then the movie is failing on the the most basic levels. If it is an action movie and the action is cheesy then what do you have? A whole lot of cheese.

That being said, I'm not a hater... I'll reserve final judgement for when the movie comes out, but based on this trailer, my expectations have been lowered, and I might just skip the theatrical release altogether. I'll save that money to watch HP, Star Trek, or Terminator Salvation a second time.

I'm with Vis and Newkill. Looks pretty darn cool. And if your gonna make a comment, at least say why its gay or we'll think you spam.

Also, if you think nobody will watch this because it looks "gay" say that to all the "gay" twilight fans out there. Terrible movie, alot of money. Peace.

This doesn't look good at all. In fact, it looks rather stupid and cheesey, with bad special effects. A movie like this has to depend on special effects and they don't look good by any means. The cast is desent enough, I guess, but nothing special.
And yes, Jonquest. One is looking better than the other. This movie seems like it is trying too hard to be big like Transformers. The same cinematographer that did Transformers is doing this, by the way. And that part with the guys dodging the missles is straight out of Transformers, along with that entire scene.
The overall message here, is that G.I.Jeo is trying to be what it is not- a big movie, or at least that's what I think.

Wow... I'm not one to usually hate on something, but this look like garbage. Let's hope it's at least fun garbage. The trailer was a let down though.

On a semi-related childhood-80's-cartoons-to-movies note... I just saw the new Transformers trailer and it looks 10x better than this. I don't expect either to be Shakespeare, but one is obviously a better looking movie than the other here.

in my opinion this looks good, i first thought when i heard they were doing this it would suck, but i got to admit the trailer just sold me.
