A new USA Network series has just found its leading lady. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Piper Perabo has been cast as the lead in Covert Affairs for the USA Network.

The series was created by Matt Corman and Chris Ord and centers on Perabo's character, Annie Walker, a CIA trainee who succeeds at everything, but is still suffering from her break-up of her ex-boyfriend, who turns out to be a person of interest to her new CIA higher-ups.

A green light for the pilot hasn't been given as of yet, but a pilot order is expected within the next few weeks.
