Kate Beckinsale Set for Small Role in Underworld 4

Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Kate Beckinsale is attached to star in the 3D Underworld 4, however, she is trying to have a smaller role so that she can "pass the torch" of the vampiress role to her 11-year-old daughter Lily Mo Sheen.

Len Wiseman (and Beckinsale hubby) is attached to direct the project, which stars Michael Sheen, and Bill Nighy.

Screenwriter John Hlavin says the movie will not be a prequel.



Underworld 4 will release in theaters on January 21, 2011.

Underworld 4 comes to theaters September 23rd, 2011 and stars Michael Sheen, Kate Beckinsale, Bill Nighy.
