Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins Set for Memorial Day Weekend 2009

Warner Bros. has just announced that it plans to release Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins on May 22nd, 2009, Memorial Day weekend. According to Variety, the sci-fi franchise epic will go against 20th Century Fox and their Ben Stiller sequel Night at the Museum 2: Escape From the Smithsonian.

Actor Sam Worthington is in negotiations to co-star in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, though nothing has been officially announced. The storyline for the sci-fi epic is being kept under tight wraps, but plot is part of a planned three-picture arc that begins after Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust. A group of survivors led by John Connor (Bale) struggles to stop the machines.

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins will begin filming in New Mexico starting on May 5th.

Maybe we will get to see Sgt. Perry whome Kyle Reese was under command from 2021 through 2027. he said he was under the one thirty second under Perry, who is a black soldier. How I know, because he was in the video game in Terminator Dawn Of Fate.

CGI Arnold is the best idea for the sequel, make him look like T-101 from the 1st Terminator. They might as well CGI Kyle Reese IMO. That will be tight to bring back the old characters and maybe they can bring back that song they did in Terminator 1 when Kyle Reese was in the future.
