Spyro the Dragon to Set the Big Screen on Fire

The Animation Picture Company is gearing up to make a big screen adaptation of the video game Spyro the Dragon. According to Variety, the Sierra Entertainment and Vivendi Game creation will be turned into a feature length cartoon.

The film is being developed as a 3-D feature. The script will closely follow the plot of the recently released Legend of Spyro trilogy of games. This is being looked at as a complete relaunch of the entire series.

The film does not have a set start date at this time.
