Ed McMahon Has Passed Away at Age 86
McMahon's died early Tuesday morning at a Los Angeles-area hospital, said hospital spokesperson Howard Bragman.
"He died early this morning with his wife and loved ones by his side," Bragman said.
McMahon had been fighting pneumonia and other ailments, although Bragman would neither confirm nor deny reports that McMahon was battling bone cancer.
