Watch the Valkyrie Trailer!

Source:  Yahoo
The first trailer for the upcoming World War II epic, Valkyrie has arrived. The film stars Tom Cruise, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Nighy, Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Izzard and is directed by Bryan Singer. Click below to watch the trailer.

Superstar Tom Cruise heads an international cast as Col. Claus von Stauffenberg, the aristocratic German officer who led the heroic attempt to bring down the Nazi regime and end the war by planting a bomb in Hitler's bunker. The "July 20 Plot" on Hitler's life is one of the most heroic but least known episodes of World War Two. Severely wounded in combat, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg returns from Africa to join the German Resistance and help create Operation Valkyrie, the complex plan that will allow a shadow government to replace Hitler's once he is dead. But fate and circumstance conspire to thrust Stauffenberg from one of many in the plot to a double-edged central role. Not only must he lead the coup and seize control of his nation's government... He must kill Hitler himself.

Looks interesting...Just don't know if Tom Cruise can pull it off. The film does have a good cast which includes Tom Wilkinson, Bill Nighy, Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Izzard & Carice van Houten. Bryan Singer needs a hit!

Only the name of director of this movie makes me feel a little bit thrilled. "Accent" problem is useless, it doesn't make a movie sounds more realistic at all. We had "Passion" in native and what?
Bryan Singer cannot mess this up, can he?

I really think 'accents' is some kind of joke in Hollywood, they make religous films and all the characters have deep London accents, or the old space films, everyone in space was english, it has to be some kind of running joke, or they dont give a rats ass. Oh the film looks cool, not my style but looks cool.

Trailer looks good. Its a long time before its release so it has some major promotion time to use.

Missing German accents? I dont get why accents are used for movies that are spoken in english. To make it seem realistic? Its not like these germans were speaking english to one another during this time.
