Variety reports that ABC's overhauled version of
Scrubs will hit the airwaves on December 1.
This year, the focus of the show shifts to a medical school setting. It will air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. beginning that night.
Scrubs is also going air a second original episode that night, at 9:30 p.m.
The new version of
Scrubs will open after the animated holiday special
Prep & Landing. That show will air at 8:30 that night.
Returning to
Scrubs will be John C. McGinley and Donald Faison as well as Eliza Coupe, Michael Mosley, Kerry Bishe and Dave Franco. Series star Zach Braff is going to appear in several episodes.

At any rate, I think this new version of Scrubs needs a new title, or at least a sub-title, like - Scrubs: Med School.
