I saw this when I saw the film "Watchmen"...It actually doesn't look to bad! ...I for one will not be rusing out to see this "Remake"...I may wait!!

I hope this is good. The only Star Trek film I ever liked was Wrath of Kahn...and I didn't really like it too much. This looks neat-o but so did Star Wars Episode I, II & III. And they turned out to be total shit.

Anyone know the music used in this trailer? Been scrambling trying to find it. I know Two Steps From Hell did the music for the first one, but this isn't on their site so I'm guessing they didn't do it.

Looks insanely epic, but no Trek movie will ever be better then Wrath of Kahn of Search For Spock.

I do understand the fued "mmm mmm", but I enjoy SciFi in general, my CAPS killin' friend. Look at it this way, you're gonna end up with the best prequels. "Diaigma", it's a term that was used in Wrath of Khan. I think they went a little more in depth in part III, but can't remember and don't own it. It's a simulated program for star fleet cadet in the "command" program. They're all farmed out to their profession the further they go in star fleet, I guess. But this program is supposed to simulate a situation that only results in wartime failure aboard a starship... everyone dies "simulated". Apparently, J. Kirk is the only person that's beat it, because he reprogrammed the computer and made the Klingons equate and fear "The James Kirk". So, he cheated. Funny story, but not sure if they'll show it yet. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong.

Firstly, joekerr, you're not a Trekkie, but you know what a "Kobayashi Maru test" is? Secondly, what the heck is that anyway? Never heard of it until now :P

Okay, since I'm not a Trekkie, can you tell me one thing? Are we going to see Kirks Kobayashi Maru test in this, or will they not show him in that part of his training yet? I did watch Wrath of KHAAANNNN! Either way, still looking forward to seeing this, which is more than I can say about how I felt by the time SW III came out... I'm still uber pissed George Lucas and I want my fucking money back for all three midnight showings!

Now -THAT- was Star Trek! As a long time fan, I am blown away! This is the "Batman Begins" of the Star Trek franchise. It will revitalize the franchise. I am just hoping that the all of the crew get nice amounts of screen time as the original movies always centered on Kirk/Spock/McCoy leaving the rest with smaller roles. Nevertheless, this trailer gives me goosebumps!
