Filmz.ru have just posted some early promotional artwork for the upcoming film, Clock Tower, which stars Brittany Snow and Milla Jovovich and is currently seeking a 2009 relese date. Click on the image below to access this new gallery of images.
Based on the popular video game series, this film takes its cue from the second installment which finds the heroine locked up in a psychiatric hospital trying to escape the curse that has haunted her family for generations.
I wasn't much of a clock tower fan back in the ps1 days, but i played it for a bit and really enjoyed the scares with scissorman chasing you around.
My only qualm with this film is that scissorman doesn't carry the signature giant scissors. They're big i'll give em that, but not freakishly, unrealistic big.

its a little late for this movie to be coming out. pretty creepy for a point and click game. i sucked at hiding. clock tower 2 sucked. got 3 but haven't finished it yet
aw man why must the video games be ruined being put on film? this was hinted last time when Max Payne came out to future filmmakers and directors: if you're gonna make a videogame in to a movie, actually play it and take what's good about the game or don't make it at all!!!
I played it when I was around 12, so 9 years ago. Funny as hell. a hunched guy stalks you around a...i think it was an office building, and he has a giant pair of scissors, opening and shutting them, shink shink shink...like the guy in the last picture. it was for playstation, but you had a mouse you used to point and click for clues and shizm to get you throught the game.
It actually scared the shit out of me back then. Now it's just funny. Shink, Shink, Shink this movie will probably stink. RHYME!

Came out in 1995 for Playstation, SNES, and Windows 95.
GT rated it #10 in it's GT countdown for scariest games of all time.

(pictures look creative, though).
Played it... This has an almost "Silent Hill adaption" feel to it.
