Source:  NBC
NBC's hilarious new hidden camera comedy series The Real Wedding Crashers, inspired by the smash-hit New Line feature film Wedding Crashers and produced by New Line Television, and Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg's Katalyst (Punk'd), is set to premiere Monday, April 23 (10-11 p.m. ET) following the return of Heroes (9-10 p.m. ET).

In the six outrageous, one-hour episodes, wedding couples team up with five "crashers" to create the most memorable wedding weekend their guests will never forget! The crash team consists of five quick-thinking, hilarious improv performers who've made it their mission to infiltrate a wedding, going undercover as wedding staff and guests to save them from run-of-the-mill boredom. The bride and groom are in on the fun as they assist the "crashers" to take on outrageous characters and personalities to pull off some fun and outlandish pranks.

The "crashers" will make it their mission to ease the bride and groom's concerns and guarantee that it will be the happiest night of their lives. Each of the "crashers" will do more than just liven up the party, some pranks will be light-hearted and funny, while others will be emotional and bring the families together. At the end of each show, viewers will be treated to a huge reveal when the "crashers" admit to their pranks.

Steve Byrne ("Comedy Central Presents"), Ben Gleib ("The Gleib Show"), Desi Lydic ("Pepper Dennis"), Catherine Reitman (My Super Ex-Girlfriend), and Gareth Reynolds ("The Room") star as the "crashers."
