Why post fuzzy images from TrekMovie when the Official Star Trek Movie site has high-quality wallpapers of these new movie posters?

Look in the Downloads section of the official site...

To my knowledge this is supposed to be a total revamp of the franchise. I'm not a Star Trek fan and not quite the hugest J.J. Abrams fan. But he does have vision. He's got an interesting approach to many of his projects. If the writing team and his vision mesh well, I believe this will become a remarkable film. I'll watch it just to see where they boldly travel to where no man has traveled before. lol! One thing about Star Trek movies, they have a grand scale and with technology as it is now, I'm interested to see how expansive the scope is now.

Archer was captain of a different ship that held the title of "Enterprise." That was in no way the same ship captained by Kirk. Lol, I'm such a geek. But yea, the Enterprise from the original series had been around for a while, but IMO Star Trek was kinda lame, so whatever they wanna do to make it better is all gravy to me.

posters are nice, but I want another trailer to watch. Your right Saquin Turok 'X' there was Captain Johnathan Archer and Captain Christopher Pike who died on a away mission on the original Star Trek show.

Not much plot has been revealed yet Seymour. All I know is that the Romulans are the enemy. I'm surprised that the trailer shows the Enterprise being built though, as it had 2 captains before Kirk.

I am hyped for this movie being a Star Trek fan for ages...but Karl Urban as McCoy really throws me...unless he can do the gravely voice and attitude, I won't be sold...but then again, Heath surprised us all with Joker, so there is no sense making a bad casting call at this point! :)

Frenzy2001, not that I'm going to get into a tit-for-tat fanboy debate on Simon Pegg's beardage...that's just weird, but I'm just used to him with it.

Maybe it's because I'm in England and am used to him as a TV comic first and foremost.

Ive only ever been a fan of the orginal Star Trek, with an allstar cast and Abrams at the helm, this could be a really awesome, Star Trek always had the potential to big really really big, it got lost along the way, but a return to Kirk, Spok and McCoy this is gonna rock.
