Steve Carell and Tina Fey Plan Date Night

Steve Carell and Tina Fey have signed on as a married couple for the comedy Date Night, to be directed by Shawn Levy for 20th Century Fox.

According to Variety, Josh Klausner wrote the script which is based on an idea by Levy, whose 21 Laps will produce. The story follows a couple who find their routine date night becomes much more than just dinner and a movie.

Date Night will begin production next year.
