I just had a peek at the screenplay. Looks well written and hopefully will be everything that we all hope.

I've seen The Cell did enjoy it but it just wasn't breath taking to me. I'll watch it I 'm just saying what it sounds like.

I think they've changed the name to avoid comparisons with CLASH OF THE TITANS. Tarsem is a visual master genius, a director who paints his movies using camera as the painting brush, so I expect this movie to be a visual masterpiece as we've never seen before. His two previous movies THE CELL and THE FALL are breathtaking examples of his extraordinary talent. And plus, I think Henry Cavill is more than fit and ready to carry the main role in the movie.

Why is it necessary to change the title? I mean War of Gods sounds as if it's about each god fighting each other.
Dawn of War sounds like a world war 2 film.

There is only one name, one person, who is out for blood, and is pissed off at the gods which is why it's called God of WAr.

i have to agree with geek on this, that game is insane, those would be some good movies. but i still am waiting to hear what the hell is going on with Metal Gear and Halo and Fable those are the only other 3 game adaptations im interested at this point.
