Paranormal Activity to Expand Wide If 1 Million Fans Demand It

Paranormal Activity has been scaring up some amazing business from just a limited amount of theaters, and the trend will surely continue next weekend when it adds 10 new cities that the film will open in. But for many moviegoers that don't live in or near a major metropolitan area, the film is still out of reach... for now.

The film's reach has been constantly expanding through the innovative Demand It online campaign, and Paramount Pictures has announced that the film will receive a national wide release if more than 1 million fans Demand It online!

The number of demands is already pushing the 400,000 mark, so we'll have to see how long it takes for the fans to push the number to 1 million.
