Release Date Set for Sex and the City Movie
September 13th, 2007
New Line has set May 30, 2008 as the release date for it's soon to be filmed Sex and the City: The Movie, according to MTVThe movie version of the long-running HBO series features the further exploits of Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbes. The series was originally based on autobiographical columns written by Candace Bushnell.
The film will star Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth, Jennifer Hudson and Lynn Cohen.
Other films scheduled to be released on May 30 next year are: the big Eddie Murphy comedy Starship Dave and the Judd Apatow produced comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

I've never been a fan of the show, probably wont go to see it... BUT.. since Kim Cattrall was in Star Trek... I'll root for the movie to succeed!!!
