and Chuchi is that English? Do you spread that confused gibberish all over these boards?
The first and most important - Speed Racer is going to be rated G! Silver said that The Wachowski's really wanted to make a Frank Capra-like family film out of Speed Racer that would certainly be rated G.
Also Hirsch calls Speed Racer "Blade Runner meets Andy Warhol meets pop art.
Now that is strange!
but after seeing the trailer, im not as worried anymore. the pictures had me scared a bit at first. but i think this'll be a slick movie.
Like "wizdome" says: I never watched the cartoon so I have no idea if this is faithful to it or not?? But it does look like The Wachowski Brothers are trying to keep it faithful to a Saturday morning cartoon, the same way Wareen Beatty kept "Dick Tracy" to the comic book feel! ("Dick Tracy" has a distinctive look due to its use of only six colors; red, blue, yellow, green, orange and purple, plus black and white)
I hear "Cult" film in the making for "Speed Racer"!
