With robots in disguise tearing through the box office, it seems they've found a worthy competitor this week. According to
Variety,
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs topped the Wednesday box office with $13.8 million.
The film opened in 3,998 theaters yesterday and the opening-day mark was quite strong, since it managed to beat out box-office juggernaut
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which took in $10.9 million for second place. The Michael Bay sequel now stands at $240.9 million at the domestic box office.
Also opening yesterday was Michael Mann's gangster film
Public Enemies, which opened with a solid $8.2 million on its opening day.

Public Enemies was fantastic but will be at least the 5 or 6 spot at the box office. Maybe 4.
