Dean Parisot Is a Weekend Warrior

It looks like Dean Parisot will be directing the supernatural comedy Weekend Warriors for Warner Brothers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Andrew Lazar is producing the film through his own Warner-based production company Mad Chance.

The film is said to be in the same vein as Ghostbusters. The plot follows a high school teacher and self-taught repairman that accidentally becomes a super hero. Bill Birch wrote the screenplay.

The film does not have a set start date at this time.
