Megan Fox to Star in Jonah Hex and Fathom
March 4th, 2009
Megan Fox seems to be angling to set herself up as the Geek Queen of Hollywood, moving from staring roles in Transformers and Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen to two other comic adaptations - Warner Brother's Jonah Hex and Fox Atomic's Fathom. The Hollywood Reporter announced that Fox is starring and helping to develop Fathom, and is in the final stage of negotiations for Jonah Hex.In Jonah Hex, Fox will take the role of Leila, a gun-wielding female bounty hunter and love interest to Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin). She will join Hex as they track down a voodoo practitioner (John Malkovich), who is trying to raise an army of zombies to liberate the South.
For Fathom, Fox will take the role of Aspen, the main character from the comic created by the recently deceased Michael Turner. In the comic and film, Aspen discovers that her affinity for water is due to her status as a member of a race of aquatic humanoids who have the ability to control water.
While the release of these two films is still a ways off, fans of Ms. Fox can see her this year in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, opening June 24, 2009 and in the Diablo Cody-directed Jennifer's Body, which opens September 18, 2009.

It's like giving Romero a romance, it just doesn't go in my book and plus side if its rated NC-17, which is most probable, the the release will be limited.
Also is it just me or do zombies seems to be returning to the big screen
Fathom on the other hand could be interesting, this whole underwater trying to find who you are... or find a lost loved one seems to work, alla Little Mermaid & Finding Nemo are 2 prime examples, it could also have some spectacular cinematography.
karyn kusama is directing it.
script is definitely interesting. i give it two thumbs up.
i'm excited for the film.
the only she is famous is because she is hot.
i prefer actresses with talent, or SOMETHING besides just nice aesthetics.

Megan fox as Aspen you could watch the movie on mute and still enjoy it.
Fathom = If shes going to be in a bikini for the whole movie and looking sexy like that,I.WILL.SEE.IT.AND.I.WILL.LOVE.IT.

The story line for the Comic sounds kinda boring..something about her finding her father or something.(Who cares! Megan and other women in hot clothes for about 1:30,[maybe longer]whats to get bored about??)
She definitely looks the part of Aspen
