Commando to Be Remade as Well?

Source:  JoBlo
CommandoThe remake train keeps chugging along, with rumors swirling that an Arnold Schwarzenegger 80s classic is set to reboot. JoBlo was pointed to a piece in an Australian magazine named RCI that indicated Commando was in line for a remake.

The site also checked with its own sources who also have, "heard whispers" of this remake of the Arnold Schwarzenegger action film. The source also indicated that the idea for the reboot had been brewing for some time now.

We'll be sure to keep you posted on any and all updated surrounding this possible remake as soon as we have more information.

More crap from Hollywood for they have no imagination.
No doubt Harry Potter, Star Wars or Lord of The rings will be remade soon. Must be time they remade some John Wayne films as well.

The day they talk about remaking the Lotr trilogy, is the day I become a freedom fighter to the fans, terrorist to Hollywood.

These things have to stop. But then again there's so many movies its hard to find something completely original. I guess people don't actually like "working" now a days.

The original was bad anyway now that I recall it. The opening was just the most hilarious "summer action movie" opener in its chezyness, and is ultiamtely what killed the movie for me, as well as killing off Bill Duke too early on in the film. What were they thinking???

I'm sick of all these reboots already. How arrogant is this generation of studio execs/filmmakers that they think they can make old films better? Its infuriating.... guess what... i heard that they want to do remake DIE HARD!!!! can you believe it...

Eventually, the sad truth is that remakes will be made of remakes. Another remake that I can't see surpassing the original on any point. How can someone as iconic Arnie be replaced too? Names will be thrown up, but no-one better will be. I agree with remakes if it will bring something better to the film, like replacing Clash of the Titan's creeking special effects with great CGI ones. But sadly, most great iconic films are remade because the name sell themselves, but it is also this greatness what makes them virtually untouchable. How do you top a classic. I don't believe you can.
