First Image of Mickey Rourke as Iron Man 2's Whiplash
June 9th, 2009
USA Today has just posted the first image of Mickey Rourke in Iron Man 2, which is currently filming and set for a May 7, 2010 release. Click below to enlarge this first image of Rourke as the Russian villian Ivan Vanko, a.k.a. Whiplash.
Is that just me or does that get-up look like something made in a garage and/or a science fair? Rourke does look pretty bad-ass with all the tats and everything, but lets just hope this is the Mark I version of Whiplash...
Iron Man 2 will hit theaters nationwide on May 7, 2010.

Cant see much of story line there.
"look its whiplash!"
"But here comes Ironman"
Punch, whack,
End Crdits.
It's not exactly what I had in mind, but if I read VLV, I'd probably feel different about Fin Fang Foom looking so dragon-like...the cover I described was pretty cool. He didn't look as cheesy looking
Just kidding man, but seriously, that's pretty much what you described, and it has no place in a Marvel movie, unless the do a WoW GN.
@ those confused about Rourke's character, I Repeat: The reason he looks like nothing we've seen before is that he's a fusion of Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash. People need to do a fucking google search before they start posting idiotic crap.
iam not going to worry about this one photo
