TMZ is reporting that legendary writer/director John Hughes passed away today at age 59.
The site is reporting that the director suffered a heart attack during a morning walk in New York City, where he was visiting family members. Hughes was known for such 80s classics as
Sixteen Candles,
The Breakfast Club,
Weird Science and
Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

RIP.
His legacy will live on in the films he made and the people he influenced and inspired. He spoke to everyone through everything he made incuding my personal favorite The Breakfast Club.
Everyone could relate to someone in that movie and that really meant something to me and many of his fans.
