First Real Look at Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Goes Online

Empire Online has unleashed the very first official photos from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, with your first real look at the film, including an ominous Optimus Prime which is set to grace their February 2009 cover.

In addition, USA Today recently went behind-the-scenes of Michael Bay's blockbuster sequel to find out how the film negotiated with the Department of Defense to bring out the biggest guns around in a White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, that'll double as Cairo, Egypt in the actual film.

i'm not big on the history or back ground of transformers, i watched them when i was like 5 or 8 or some shit, the first i enjoyed alot, i just hope this one lives to the hype and isnt tooooo much of a chevy comercial, or any of that non-sense, ( and by chevy comercial i mean i wouldnt b trying to do a chick on top of a car that can steal her away goin mach 5) lol jk

Seriously, perfect ending would be a small outline of Unicron in the sky.........and bring that bad ass mother fucker to part 3 somehow. He could eat Mars or something. lol

The second to the last pic, with all the explosions.. I mean it already looks eye canny and then they put robot in there. Damn, this will be a sick film. Prayers for a good story.

I can't wait for this movie myself. I have been a Transformer buff since I was a kid, and too see them do live action for it ... wow. I'll be interesting where they go with it with the other four they are contracted for.

Sequels usually don't do as well as the original, but The Dark Knight proved it can be done. Even Quantum of Solace (which is a somewhat sequel to Casino Royale) did just as well at the box office as its predecessor.

Lets hope this is not a letdown. Hope its got a good story behind it and not just a bunch of CGI battles. Though I DO like my action haha

Yea...this looks sick as hell, but not really showing us anything yet. I hope in one of the battles with Prime, his mouth shield gets welded shut so we don't have to look at his werid ass lips... :-)

didnt really like the first one. was thinking about seeing this one, but these weak ass photos make me draw further away. i won't believe this will make as much as the first on did. maybe if labeouf wasn't in it. btw, corny subtitle. sequels these days just need to have their numbers and that's it, because these titles are getting worse and worse.
