Kevin Spacey will once again transform into Superman’s arch-foe, Lex Luthor, in the next Superman film, tentatively titled
Superman: The Man of Steel. The news comes buried near the bottom of an interview with Spacey done by
The Belfast Telegraph.
The interview focuses on Spacey’s career as a theatrical actor, and his work as the artistic director of the Old Vic theatre. But it does comment on the fact that Spacey will be returning to the role of Luthor in the follow-up to 2006’s
Superman Returns.
What this means on the heels of the news that Warner Brothers is looking for a “darker tone” to the next film in the Superman franchise is unclear. It is similarly uncertain if Brandon Routh, who played Superman/Clark Kent, or director Bryan Singer will be back.

Look at his profile, seriously. His comments read like "why do you people care enough about movies to talk about them beyond "AWW Sick" and 'Fucking Gay' ".
His description says it all I guess
"Im 15. I love action movies...
...and I hate dialogue or thinking about things like people talking on screen. It hurts my brain, but it's not cool like when somebody in a movie hurts someone...aw man, that's sweet."
the man of steel sounds like its going to be a block buster
A darker tone for Superman? How! Common WB. Let the Batman handle the darkness, along with the other comic characters THAT HAVE ALWAYS CARRIED A DARK TONE!
Restart Superman. That's the best option.

i'd defo like 2 see the one who played in smallville (lex luthor caracter) and i think tom welling could do a great superman.. he has some skills.
I sure hope it's a reboot. Returns ended the Donner series very well, I think it would be too much of a stretch to try to build more story off of what happened in Returns.
Reboot.
"the follow-up to 2006's Superman Returns." So now they're calling it a follow up instead of a reboot? Make ur damn minds! lol
