Andrzej Bartkowiak to Direct Black and Blue

Andrzej Bartkowiak (Doom) is in negotiations to direct Black and Blue, a thriller written by Jimmy Cummings and Brad Sohn for Emmett/Furla Films, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film revolves around a Boston detective who is desperately trying to combat an escalating drug war between an old-school Irish mob boss and a group of young thugs, only to learn that some of his family members might be involved.

Emmett/Furla's M. Dal Walton III will executive produce along with Dorothy Aufiero.
