According to The Hollywood Reporter, New Line Cinema has purchased an untitled comedy pitch from writing team David Diamond & David Weissman. Andrew Panay, Peter Abrams and Robert L. Levy will produce via their Tapestry Films banner.

The story line for the project is being kept under wraps, though it is described as being in the tone of Wedding Crashers and features a guy who misbehaves to an alarming degree. It is based on an original idea by Panay, and Diamond and Weissman will begin writing immediately.
