Eddie Murphy Will Star in Fantasy Island

Eddie Murphy is attached to star in Columbia Pictures' big-screen adaptation of the 1970s' TV show Fantasy Island.

Murphy will once again play multiple roles, as he has in his last couple of films. Which roles those will be, exactly, have yet to be announced.

The film will be a family-oriented comedy. Jay Scherick and David Ronn will write the film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, they recently worked with Murphy on Norbit.

The film does not yet have a start date.
