Paulo Costanzo Signs on for A Beginner's Guide to Endings
November 6th, 2009
Paulo Costanzo has joined the cast of A Beginner's Guide to Endings alongside Scott Caan, JK Simmons, and Tricia Helfer. Written and to be directed by Jonathan Sobol and produced by Los Angeles and Toronto-based Darius Films, the dark comedy follows three brothers who learn they only have a few days to live, and they set off to reverse a lifetime of mistakes. The film is slated to begin shooting November 4 in Niagara Falls, NY.Costanzo is set to play "Jacob White" the youngest of the three White brothers who each find out they have a few days left to live. Jacob, who lived his life taking no risks, decides to start taking them all. He is the only functional member in his highly dysfunctional family, highly intelligent, sweet and relatable, however there is a searing urgency to everything he does and a sense of pain and regret that propels him through his kinetic and outrageous journey.
Costanzo currently stars as "Evan Lawson" on the hit, USA series Royal Pains, a medical comedy set in the Hamptons. The series goes back into production for season two in April 2010. He is best known for his roles in the DreamWorks hit college comedy, Road Trip and Miramax Films' 40 Days and 40 Nights.
