Prison Break About to Be Sprung from Fox?

Source:  The Hollywood Reporter
It appears that a Monday night Fox drama may be locked away for good. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Prison Break might be at the end of its run this season.

It seems that the cast was told that the filming schedule was to be extended for two additional episodes, which may in fact turn out to be the series' final two episodes. The writers haven't pitched ideas yet for these episodes, but it seems they may not even air at all.

The network has not been cleared to air these episodes as of yet, and although negotiations are under way, but the episodes could be used for a two-hour event in the fall, or could be on the DVD.

It seems unlikely that the additional episodes will be tacked onto this season, as the shows ratings are in decline and the final six episodes of the 22-episode order weren't seen on Fox's midseason schedule.

After whatching yesterday's show, I find that they should get all back into prison. And they should atleas stay there for a couple seasons (if there is a couple of season's).

I do not think they expected the show to do as well as it did so now they are grasping for ideas.

I agree with everything you said Space101. I would have liked the 3rd season a little bit more of they moved them back to Fox River instead of Panama.

Ya I like this show too but the 3rd season and this one aren't good. They escaped prison way too early. They could of extended it for another season. They need to keep the momentum in prison and not on the outside!!! that was the whole point!
