Source:  The Hollywood Reporter
Louise Lombard will play the title role in the ABC drama pilot, Judy's Got a Gun from Touchstone TV. The show centers on Judy (Lombard), a suburban woman who balances being a single mother with being a detective investigating bizarre suburban crimes, notes The Hollywood Reporter.

Sarah Clarke has been cast in NBC's untitled Shore/Blake drama pilot. It's a light ensemble drama with procedural elements that centers on a female cop (Famke Janssen); Clarke will play her younger sister and best friend who sometimes gives her advice about cases.

Bridgette Wilson-Sampras has been added to ABC's drama pilot, Mr. and Mrs. Smith from Regency TV and Dutch Oven; the show centers on Jane (Jordana Brewster) and John (Martin Henderson) Smith, a married suburban couple who are spies. Wilson-Sampras will play a neighbor, a promiscuous housewife who sets her sights on John.

Lucy Lawless is set to star as one of the leads in ABC's drama pilot, Football Wives. Based on the British series, the show revolves around the wives of professional football players; Lawless will play one of them - she's sexy, but not as sophisticated as she thinks she is.

Miriam Shor has joined CBS' drama pilot, Swingtown; the show revolves around 1970s married suburban couples practicing partner-swapping. Shor will play an insecure housewife who busies herself with block party organization and neighborhood politics.

Fran Kranz has landed the lead in CBS' ensemble comedy pilot, The Captain, which centers on an acclaimed young filmmaker (Kranz) struggling with writer's block who moves into the famous El Capitan apartment building. She navigates through the eccentricities of his neighbors there.

And Yvonne Strzechowski will co-star in the NBC/Warner Bros. TV drama, Chuck about a nerdy computer tech (Zachary Levi) who has a database of government secrets downloaded into his brain; Strezechowski will play the CIA agent assigned to his case.
