Hayden Panettiere Teases on Heroes' Next Season

Source:  Next On Heroes, MTV Movies Blog
It seems that we might be going on quite a ride with an NBC hit series next season... a carnival ride. MTV Movies Blog recently spoke with Heroes star Hayden Panettiere about the upcoming fourth season of the show.

"The next season of Heroes has a lot of characters that are coming in," says Panettierre, "There's something called The Carnival... which is kind of the opposite of what The Company was. There's a lot of new, cool characters."

There have been a spate of new actors signed on to the show, including Prison Break's Robert Knepper, who has recently signed on to portray the villian Samuel. According to Next On Heroes, it seems that Samuel is a carnival barker, and Ray Park is in talks to portray the mysterious knife-throwing carnival character.

We'll be sure to keep you posted on any and all Heroes updates as soon as we have more information.

Also Phil does have a point this show needs a few more women and after it gets women good ol Sylar needs to pick a side.

I don't think they lost the plot Catzilla the whole show is plot with counter plots inside of the plot with a counter plot sitting on top of all the plots and counter plots.

Heroes runs hot and cold with me - first series was wicked, then either I got a bout of adhd or they just lost the plot (and my interest) a little - but I could watch Hayden all day - not that her acting is excellent, but she has other features that can keep a person's interest :o)

LOL Oli... i was tired of her after season 1... wished they could have "saved the world" another way than saving the cheerleader. lol she is a one-dimensional actress whose 15 minutes should have been up hours ago!

I never liked the show and I am very forgiving and there are fine lines between inspiration and a complete rip off. And Heroes is a rip off. You can take just about everything they've done and fine DIRECT links to Marvel, that is what the show should of been called, Marvel. Then I would have watched it.

gave up on this series, but depending on what they do with this new direction i might be able to be persuaded to watch again. i didn't want to stop, but the plot/storyline got so ridiculous that it became TV's own "Nuke the Fridge". we'll see...

So is The Carnival supposed to be a gang of supervillains? If so, that sounds really interesting to me. They can really set up nemesis' for the heroes, and flush out those storylines.

You have a good point there peaches. In that case then, most of the new characters need to be women on account that most of the former cast members who got the ax last season were women.

I'm not sure about this. Heroes' upcoming fourth season sounds similar to Lost's fourth: It introduced way too many new characters and was a contributing factor to it being a rotten season.

they better be careful with how they handle the storylines though
