Check Out a New Extended X-Men Origins: Wolverine Clip!

Source:  Papa John's Pizza
An unfortunate truth about marketing a big-budget Hollywood action film is that many times, the commercial tie-ins make little sense - as is the case with the tie-in from X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Papa John's Pizza. On the plus side, those tie-ins often give us the chance to see sneak peeks of the film, and that is precisely the case with this film. A new extended clip from the film has now come our way, thanks to the pizza franchise.

It's a scene that we've seen in most of the trailers, featuring Wolverine on a motorcycle and his battle against a helicopter, but this gives us a longer look at the scene, including finding out just what happens to your military helicopter when Marvel's deadliest mutant hero lands on top of it.

Leading up to the events of X-Men, X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the story of Wolverine's epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe. The movie stars Hugh Jackman, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, will.i.am, Dominic Monaghan, and Daniel Henney.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine hits theaters May 1st, 2009.

Looking forward to this film but, this looks like a its a key action scene, and tbh it didn't do anything special for me.

I've seen this. It was in the work print. They really fucked up Deadpool in this movie. If it wasn't for that.. I'd say it was a pretty good movie.

I thought this was gonna be another one of the same old stupid superhero movies, with just cool special effects.
But I'm gonna give it a shot after seeing this, watching the trailer, and hearing all the hype about it.

Jesus, when are you people on this site going to grow up, Saul gave his opinion on what he thought of the video and because you didn't like it, you bash him. Grow up. Why are you guys so afraid to admit when something looks kinda shitty just because you highly anticipate the movie? Oh and by the way, nobody....I mean NOBODY wants this movie to be amazing more than me. I was on this exact set during filming (takes place on a back road in Glenorchy in New Zealand about 45 minutes outside of Queenstown, just in case you thought I was full of shit), but even I can admit that those special effects, especially the wide shot with the helicopter falling, looks like complete and utter shit (looks like something out of Walker Texas Ranger....yeah, it's that bad). The shot of hugh on the bike is so clearly blue screen that its pathetic....its heartbreaking if anything.
But I am not going to sit here and say that the movie is going to suck entirely because it may not...but this sequence needs a lot of work.
I will say this, the clip has cool things in it and is an incredible idea but is very poorly executed and could be a lot better, therefore this clip has definitely lowered my expectations.....but yes I will see it in the theater opening day regardless. I just hope this movie doesn't turn out to be one of those "incredible idea/script with a shitty director" movies.

Hmm...well, this wasn't impressive at all. It wasn't cool, camerawork was not-so-great...editing could be a LOT better and not to mention the special effects (why is he so blurry while the front shot riding the bike?)...nah, clip convinced me not to go to the cinema.
