News has slowly been coming out about Marvel's plans to link their upcoming films, in what might be the groundwork for a future
Avengers movie. The first link in that chain is supposed to occur this summer in
The Incredible Hulk and
Iron Man, but no one knew what that link would be. Well now,
Ain't It Cool News has a report about that crucial cross-over scene.
Their source says:
So the scene that was shot was for the Hulk with General Thunderbolt who is very important to the Hulk. Anyway, Tony Stark meets with him - which of course is a straight prelude to the Avengers Movie.
So, Tony Stark will be making an appearance in
The Incredible Hulk. What remains unclear is whether there will be a scene in
Iron Man where we see Edward Norton or any of the other actors appearing in
The Incredible Hulk.
Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and Gwynth Paltrow flies into theatres on May 2, 2008.
The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton, William Hurt, Liv Tyler and Tim Roth arrives just a little over one month later, hitting the screen on June 13, 2008.

They should have more cameo's or even just little references in super hero movies. Not big, long, appearances, but just a small scene to see who notices. I'll be watching for this one when I see "The Incredible Hulk."
They did a small reference to Gotham in Super Man Returns, should we expect the same here. Or will be something like General Thunderbolt asking Stark to build him a weapon to try to take down Hulk.
Not really crossovers, but "CAMEOS" of certain figures in these movies would've made a lot of sense to keep the flow and continuity for them.
Xmens biggest flaw is its timeline and continuity in comparisson to the actual comic line. I know its just a movie, but a lot of fans notice this and alot of critics.....are fans.......
