Laeta Kalogridis to Adapt Ghost in the Shell 3-D

Laeta Kalogridis has signed on to adapt the Japanese manga Ghost in the Shell 3-D, a futuristic police thriller that for DreamWorks is turning into a 3D live-action film.According to Variety, Avi Arad, Ari Arad and Steven Paul of Seaside Entertainment are attached to produce and originally brought the project to DreamWorks.
Created by Masamune Shirow, "Ghost in the Shell" was first published in 1989. It went on to generate two more manga editions, three anime film adaptations and an anime TV series. The second anime film, Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence was released in the U.S. by DreamWorks in 2004.
Jamie Moss was the original writer hired when DreamWorks bought the property last year.
No production date has been set.

The complaining might as well stop, because the advent of True HD 3D is upon us, and it's not going away. Besides, why get so pissed about it? I just don't get the anger of it.

This will be transformed from Spectacle artistic futuristuic imagery to 3D garbage in the bottom of the trashcan.
Also there is subside to this, isn't Spielberg attached to direct GITS, and that article came from Variety too, as who is directing.
Despite i dont see this progressing anywhere any way...Unless in the hands off the director of Casshern & Goemon, Kiriyua, i think his name is.
This needs a Japanese or Korean attached to direct & write, not an American
