USA Network has filled out the cast of
The Starter Wife, bringing in new characters including Hart Bochner (
Die Hard). FX announced that
Deadwood star Timothy Olyphant has joined the cast of
Damages, now in its second season, according to
Variety.
On
The Starter Wife, set to return in October, Bochner will play Zach, who becomes entangled with Molly (Messing) when he teaches her writing class.
Also joining the cast are David Alan Bashe (
Lipstick Jungle), who's playing Kenny Kagen, Molly's ex-husband; Danielle Nicolet (
Heartland) as Molly's new friend Liz Marsh; and Brielle Barbusca as Molly's daughter, Jaden.
On
Damages, Olyphant will play a character who becomes involved with Ellen Parsons (played by Rose Byrne). Olyphant will be seen throughout the season alongside Glenn Close, Tate Donovan, Byrne and new hire William Hurt.
