Sarah Jessica Parker Replacing Rachel Weisz In Smart People

Sarah Jessica Parker is replacing Rachel Weisz in the comedy, Smart People.

Also starring in the film, Dennis Quaid, Thomas Haden Church, Ellen Page, and Ashton Holmes; Variety says she'll play a doctor who falls for a professor whose wife's death has turned him into a bitter man.

Mark Poirier wrote Smart People, with Noam Murro directing; production begins November 6th for a 2007 release.
