I'm getting tired of seeing Sam Jackson in every other movie. I believe without a doubt he's a great actor, but he's not versatile. The movies hes in definitely make a shit load of money, but that doesn't mean they're all good movies. Many film watchers go to see a movie just because of the actors or actresses in the movie, but look at Snakes on a Plane for example. People were hyped about the movie before it came out because of Sam Jackson. "OMG Samuel Jackson is starring in Snakes on a Plane, we HAVE to go see it." It's a load of bull. All I'm saying is The Spirit has the potential of being good, but just because Sam Jackson is in it doesn't mean it's going to be.
