If the new film version of
Star Trek is successful, it seems there could be the possibility of a new TV incarnation as well.
The Live Feed is reporting that there may be some possible life in a new
Star Trek TV series.
The site also ran a brief interview snippet from newly-returned
Heroes writer Bryan Fuller, who stated in an interview with
IF Magazine that he has been in contact with J.J. Abrams about a new TV series.
"I told my agent and told the people of J.J. Abrams' team I want to create another
Star Trek series and have an idea that I'm kicking around," Fuller said. "I would love to return to the spirit of the old series with the colors and attitude. I loved
Voyager and
Deep Space Nine, but they seem to have lost the '60s fun and I would love to take it back to its origin."
We'll certainly keep you updated on this potentially-new TV series.

i'm going to assume yes, you meant "intro".
anyway, i'm in. i watch the original series every sunday when it's on, i can't see why i wouldn't at least give this show a chance.
And "Enterprise" did not suck. (Especially the last season of it.)
And yes, ComradeHenson. I agree with you fully. Enterprise did suck.
But I agree, it will never be as good as the original.
You guys seem to be reading the quote incorrectly, as most of you are lambasting Voyager and DS9. Fuller said "I loved Voyager and Deep Space Nine BUT [KEYWORD HERE IS "BUT"] they seem to have lost the '60s fun and I would love to take it back to its origin."
I would be in favor of this.
Enterprise sucked.
