CBS Picks Up Shark for a Full Season

CBS has given a full-season order to Shark, its freshman drama about the professional and personal life of charismatic, self-confident defense attorney turned prosecutor Sebastian Stark (James Woods).

Shark, the 2006-2007 season's Number One new drama, is averaging 14.36 million viewers, 5.3/13 in adults 25-54 and 4.1/11 in adults 18-49 in its Thursday (10:00-11:00 PM) time period. Last night's episode averaged season high ratings in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49 and matches best adults 18-49 performance.

In addition to Woods, Shark stars Jeri Ryan, Sam Page, Sophina Brown, Alexis Cruz, Sarah Carter and Danielle Panabaker.

Shark becomes the second freshman drama CBS has given a full-season order to, following the previously announced Jericho.
