Actually, this is meant to be told as a separate medium (TV series)...if not it would be a 3 -4 live action film venture. I'm curious about what actually happens between Ep 2-3, but I'd rather have it wrapped up in a year on TV rather than 9 on screen. I'd rather see a sequel trilogy in that time frame. That and it doesn't make much sense to make a live action prequel of a prequel, does it?

Obviously, after I watch it in the theater and I don't like it, I won't watch the series. Simple as that. No one can claim prejudice on me then.

No one has to except it's existence. Take for example, how Mummy Returns or Lost world, or MIIB is in my opinion. I will blast them with a shotgun if anyone tries to bring them into my home...for there only reason to existence was to make money.

It might be enjoyable for all I know. But it's not the way SW should be going. It's just so blatant that it's just a cheap money-making idea. I've already had my rant, my view remains completely unchanged.

Wow...lots of haters out there.

Don't forget that this is the 2 hour premier of a television series, only the 2 hour premier will be in the theater instead. The animated series that will follow will have animation as equaled to what we will see on the big screen. And after watching the trailer on the big screen, the look of it is pretty damn good. The videos here don't do it justice. I'll be sure to watch this on digital projection.

That being said, this will be one of the most advanced animated series of all time. How about we watch it before we cast judgment, huh?

and for UNo...Lucas has a third trilogy in mind, but we won't be seeing anything for it until 2015, or it might play out as a live action series. Seems that each of the three trilogies will be separated 20 years apart. Have no idea who will play who though.

I heard somewhere that they were trying to make a regular live action sequal to StarWars like an episode 7 or something, but Harrison Ford turned down the role. But, thats all I know on that subject. Anybody here anything else or similar??

It's because I'm a Star wars fan I'm not seeing this. I'm just so angry and disappointed it's all come down to a cheap looking cartoon. Damn, I did another comment on this waste of time.

I love Star Wars, yeah, even the prequels, but Clone Wars... again!?
The Star Wars universe is so big, why stay on the same bull.... I hated the first Clone Wars, and it was too kiddie. This is not the way Star Wars should be in a theater.
Maybe I'll watch this, only because I'm a fan, but I think probably wait to someone hand me the DVD in a few months.

I've posted a comment on every thread I've seen of this, so I'm not doing another comment about Clone Wars after this. So:- Fuck you Lucas. I've been a fan of your great SW for 30 years, and it feels like I've been kicked in the teeth with this utter shit. What are you playing at taking the franchise in this direction? Lower cost higher profits eh? Lost your creativity and serve up this abomination for loyal fans? Shame on you for doing this, and shame on the people who'll be watching this. The franchise had been on life support ever since The Phantom Menace, and I ain't hanging around to see it's death rattle. No doubt you'll then be fucking it's corpse with more shitty sequels and prequels.

I have liked star wars since I was a kid, I liked very few things about the last 3 films, and find myself rewatching Empire more than any of the new films. This looks terrible, I can honestly say I wont watch it, and i may never rent it.

I myself am a long time Star Wars fan. All I can say is, just think of Episodes 4-6. All this other crap, is just a way for Mr Lucas to say "Fuck you", Ill give it a Star Wars title and earn some cash, while Ill sit back and think of another way to screw the fans...booo...boooo
