Anne Hathaway is set to play Agent 99 in the comedy, Get Smart for Warner Bros. Pictures.

She'll star opposite Steve Carell (Maxwell Smart) in the 60's sitcom adaptation with Peter Segal as director. Variety says Hathaway will play the role originated on the small screen by Barbara Feldon.

Shooting for Get Smart will begin in March for a 2008 release.
