Gregg Henry joins the horror flick Slither

According to MovieHole, actor Gregg Henry (Dawn of the Dead) may be gaining a high profile role in James Gunn's upcoming horror film, Slither...

"Henry will be playing the role of jack maccready, the jumpy mayor of wheelsy", says Gunn, writer of last year's "Dawn of the Dead" redo. "Gregg is another one of my favorite actors, from movies like Payback and Raising Cain and, shit, a million more. I am nearly done assembling the perfect horror movie cast".


The actor would join Michael Rooker, Elizabeth Banks, and Rheagan Wallace.

Slither revolves around an alien plague that infects a small town, setting a local (Rooker) on a murderous spree. His wife (Banks) teams up with an old flame to combat the situation.
