At a press-event for Sony Pictures and Marvel Entertainment's
Ghost Rider, producer Avi Arad announced that talks are now underway to develop a sequel to the action-packed superhero movie starring Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes.
Cage would once again portray stunt cyclist Johnny Blaze who has sold his soul to the devil. By day, Johnny is a die-hard stunt rider... but at night, in the presence of evil, he becomes the Ghost Rider, a bounty hunter of rogue demons, forced to do the devil's bidding.
Ghost Rider is one of Nicholas Cage's favorite comics; he is very passionate about playing the character and would be eager to come back for future installments.
Arad said that the crew spent a year tweaking the
Ghost Rider graphics technology. We were able to see the film at a special press-screening - the first time the audience gets to see Johnny Blaze transform into the Ghost Rider, it is a mind-blowing experience ... the effects are that incredible!
Check back in the coming days for full interviews with both Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes as well as a review of the film.

I really don't think it was supposed to be to serious, and deep.
I believe it's good old fashioned fun and meant to be just that, fun. The actors are to good to be directed as poorly as the 'critics' say. Give me a break. I'm looking Forward to seeing Ghost Rider 2' the effects of the first were Fantastic, the camera angles and back grounds were superior. do it again.
I want to have fun once in a while and just enjoy a movie with out having to look for some "DEEPER MEANING" get a life critics and have fun for a change!!!!
