MovieWeb has your first look at the trailer for the upcoming video game adaptation,
Hitman, starring Timothy Olyphant! Click below to take a look!
Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire, whose most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the nape of his neck, and his only name.
The hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover. Both Interpol and the Russian military chase the Hitman across Eastern Europe as he tries to find out who set him up and why they're trying to take him out of the game. But the greatest threat to 47's survival may be the stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a beautiful, damaged girl...

I liked the concept the first time when it was called boondock saints. But that might be a little too international for the monster truck crowd you seem to be pandering too.
But then again this is comming from Fox studios. Where the executives know and freely admit they are garbage wrapped in skin.
I predict a DVD release after 3 weeks.
But any way i'm a screenwriter and i'm actually working on a DMC script at the moment. The DMC movie was meant to come out in 2004, but no script has been written except 1 and mine which i'm currently writing. I even have plans for 2 sequels and 1 prequel to my DMC Stories
Unfortunitly i have to agree with "Chronic" in thinking that this movie will most likley follow the same old "Assassin learns to feel feelings story" we have seen athousand times over. BUt meh! i still think it will be fun to grab a extra large coke a bucket of popcorn and check this film out if you in anyway a fan of the hitman series.
Devil may cry movie anyone?????
When will screenwriters and director learn that a game to film adapation is onl;y good when the film roughly follows the game. Other than that the film will suck big time.
Officially this film looks like it lacks a lot of things. But i need to see an actual proper trailer to decide this. But most films look so awesome from their teasers, this one doesn't.
Although Timothy Olyphant does look excellent as 47, i'll gibve them that he looks like the game's character, Excellent Choice.
