It seems that the second film in a line of George A. Romero-branded films is getting started before the first is even released. According to The Valley Independent, production has commenced on George A. Romero Presents Deadtime Stories 2 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania yesterday.

The production is said to be the second in a trilogy of films, George A. Romero Presents Deadtime Stories, being the first, which will all be produced by the horror legend and will each feature Romero sitting in a chair at the beginning of the film, getting ready to tell his story. The sequel will consist of three short films, all with their own director. check out the trailer below.



One of the directors, Matt Walsh, said the first George A. Romero Presents Deadtime Stories is slated for release in April of 2009, with the sequel to be released in November 2009. Production on the third film will commence this summer.
