Smallville's Justice League Arc Combined for Two-Hour Movie

Source:  Ausiello Files
Smallville's Justice League Arc Combined for Two-Hour MovieIt seems that some highly-anticipated episodes of a hit CW series will now be packaged together on one night. According to Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello Files, Smallville will turn it's two-episode Justice League of America arc into a two-hour TV movie.

The two episodes, both written by comic book veteran Geoff Johns, were designed to be run as separate episodes, but the site is reporting that the network felt it was best to combine the two into a TV movie.

The TV movie will feature the likes of such Justice League heroes as Stargirl, Hawkman and Dr. Fate, and will debut on January 29, 2010.

Again with the bring Batman on Smallville. I seriously doubt that if it could have been done by now, in the ninth season, they would have. The legal mess that is between them ever appearing on Smallville is the only thing that keeps them from doing it. I bet they even have a written in the hopes a deal can be made to do it.

The only their gonna suck me into watching that show again is bringing Bruce Wayne/Batman into the picture. Which to be honest, is kind of lame that they havent done yet.

This really makes me want a JSA series...but not on the freaking CW. It would be like 90210 with superpowers. Get some intelligent writers and put that bad boy on AMC, or TNT.

About time and it would be cool for the beginning for a TV series.

The JLA arc already happened. Stargirl, Hawkman, and Dr. Fate would mean it's the Justice Society of America storyline, which would probably make a great TV series on its own.
